Our Macauley Oakville Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a dark garnet hue and opens to aromatics of blackberry and black cherry, backed by notes of baking spices and rich, dark chocolate. This gorgeously complex, dark fruit driven Cabernet has a mouthfeel framed with perfectly integrated tannins and a finish of lingering resonance. Now in its fourth vintage from this site, the wine continues to showcase Oakville Ranch’s signature herbal notes of prairie grass and dried spring flowers. The nose is high-toned, with red cherry, blackberry, and pomegranate seed nuances, accented by crushed cocoa nibs and lifted mocha notes. The full-bodied palate is fantastically lush, with super-firm tannins, a rush of sandalwood, and a ripe, long finish.
